Strava Expands Network to Denver with New Office Opening
DENVER — (January 23, 2018) — Strava, the social network for athletes, is thrilled to announce that it is expanding the rapidly growing sports brand with a new office in Denver, Colorado. With more than 140 employees in San Francisco, Hanover and Bristol (UK), Denver offers access to a depth of talent in one of the world’s most active cities.
The Colorado Front Range has become known as Silicon Mountain because of the booming startup and tech scene. Denver is the epicenter of the action with a high-momentum tech community and rapidly-expanding talent pool. With 10,000 miles of trails, 15 national forest, 41 state parks, 58 peaks that rise above 14,000 feet and and dozens of world-class winter sport destinations Colorado is also the ultimate outdoor playground and a key market for Strava. Strava looks forward to contributing to the Denver community and will focus first on building product development and design teams.

Strava and CDOT have already partnered with over 70 municipalities, planning agencies, and conservation organizations throughout the state to provide access to Strava data to improve active transit at a grass roots / local level.
